Wooler Cross Country

With the bright but cold conditions facing all athletes at Wooler on Sunday 20th November, Loren Smedley continued were she left off from last season by finishing in 6th place overall and 2nd in her age group. Alex Noble showed his father, Grant Noble a senior runner with Dunbar, the way by finishing one place behind Loren and 2nd in his category. Anna Dobson was 4th in her age group with Nicola Craig a couple of places behind taking 21st place overall and 5th female 12/13 year old. Isabelle Taylor, in her very first race in a Dunbar vest, celebrated her ninth birthday by finishing the course in first place in her age group and like Alex showed her dad Richard Taylor a senior runner with Dunbar just what it's like to compete at the sharp end.

The next round is at Dunbar (White Sands) on Sunday 18th December with a 11.30am start.

If you missed the first race, registration will be from 11am, please ensure that you are there in plenty of time.

Sportshall Athletics

The trials for the East Lothian team will now take place on Sunday 11th December
not the 27th November, the trials will be held at the Aubigny Sports Centre Haddington from 2pm-4.30pm.

Registration forms will be distributed out at club nights.

Following the team selection the training session dates are as follows:-
18th December
15th January 06
22nd January 06

These training sessions will take place from 2.30pm-4.30pm at Haddington

Borders X Country

This Sunday 20th November is the first of the Borders Cross Country at Wooler, the junior race starts at 11.30am, remember to arrive at Wooler in plenty of time to register before the race.
