Wooler Cross Country

Sunday 28th January saw the penultimate race in the Borders Cross-Country taking
place at Doddington Golf Course. The race, hosted by Wooler Running
Club, with blustery winds, it made the going quite difficult for the competitors.

Alex Noble had another good run, coming in 7th in a time of 13:20, with Lewis Ross not far behind in 13:38 and Bruce Lindsay putting in his 5th run of the series, finishing in 15:33. Elliot Mullen, 16:16, Gemma Bolton, 17:36, Lucy Hall, 17:38, Cory
Smith, 17:39, Andrew Taylor, 18:14, Martin Sparksman, 18:35 and Isabelle Taylor, 20:48, all finished strongly despite battling against the headwind in the long stretch to the finish.

The final race is on 18th February at Norham with the presentation in
the village hall afterwards.
